Our Verdict
The Mammut Astro Guide Gloves are a solid choice for ski touring and all-around winter activities. They combine windproof GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER material with warm PrimaLoft Silver insulation. These gloves offer adequate protection against cold winds while remaining breathable, and the Pittards leather palm enhances grip, perfect for handling ski poles or gear in frosty conditions.
At 128g for a medium, the Astro Guide Gloves are lightweight yet durable. They feature a pre-shaped design for a natural fit that reduces hand fatigue. The neoprene cuff with an adjustable hook-and-loop closure provides a snug fit to keep out snow.
