Our Verdict
Outdoor Research's 2021 ActiveIce Sun Sleeves provide excellent levels of protection and comfort from the sun. The sleeves have a close fit but the Thermo-Regulating ActiveIce fabric is amazingly lightweight and breathable. Despite this they still provide protection from the sun with a UPF 50+ rating. The fabric does an impressive job of keeping you cool when you are exposed to the sun for prolonged periods. They are also excellent at wicking moisture and are fast drying so they perform well no matter what activities you're involved in.
The sleeves offer full arm coverage and feature a thumb hole and finger loop depending on how you want to wear them. There is a light silicone grip around the upper arm to help keep them in place and stop them sliding down.
